Agent

AI Quote Agent for freight forwarders

The Quote Agent watches your connected inbox for freight quote requests, extracts route and cargo details, prices against your own historical lanes, and leaves a draft reply in the same thread. Operators review, edit, and send — the agent never emails the client on its own.

What problem it solves

Quote requests arrive nights and weekends. Without a first-pass draft, response time slips and deals go to whoever replies first — even when your rates would have won.

Manual pricing means opening the TMS, searching lanes, and rewriting the same email structure. The agent does that first pass so the desk starts from a reviewable draft.

How it works

Every step ends with a human decision. The agent prepares; your team controls what the client sees.

  1. A quote request lands in a connected IMAP, Gmail, or Microsoft 365 inbox (or WhatsApp when connected).
  2. The agent triages freight inquiries, parses origin, destination, weight, and language, then matches historical routes.
  3. It drafts a client-facing reply plus an internal analysis block for the operator.
  4. You review in the dashboard (or mailbox draft), edit if needed, and tap Send — only then does the quote leave.

Human control

4logist AI is draft-only on every channel. A drafted-but-unsent quote is not treated as an accepted price for training. Sending is an explicit operator action.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Quote Agent send emails without approval?

No. It prepares a draft. A quote reaches the client only when an operator sends it from the dashboard or approved send path.

Where do the prices come from?

From your workspace’s own historical 4logist routes and lane history — not generic market averages.

Which languages does it draft in?

It detects the language of the inbound request and drafts the client reply to match, including Lithuanian, Russian, English, Polish, and more.
